HUNTING AND WHITEFISH NETTING RATES
For Canadian residents take advantage of the excellent bow and rifle hunting for Moose (WMU 22 and 23), Bear and Grouse. Bring your truck and/or ATV and explore endless kilometers of bush and logging roads.  Also starting on Oct 1st enjoy the unique opportunity of netting whitefish right in the Oba river.

For convenience consider bringing paper plates and paper towels to help reduce dirty dishes.

You will need to bring:

  • FOOD ( on a 4 day guided trip you will need 3 breakfasts and 3 suppers. We recommend keeping supper’s simple i.e. Steaks and potatoes, pasta and meatballs, chili, stew, etc...)
  • Non guided trips responsible for lunch
  • Snacks and bottled drinking water
  • Keurig coffee or ground coffee
  • Beer, alcohol, and pop (small cooler and ice for train ride)
  • Fishing equipment (filet knife, pliers, 6’-7’ medium action rod with 8lb test, ¼ oz -1/2 oz jig heads, assorted plastics- Berkley gulp, mister twisters, bottom bouncers and spinner rigs, 6”-9” black wire leaders)
  • Clothing (prepare for all weather conditions)
  • Quality rain suit
  • Quality waterproof boots or shoes or/and rubber boots
  • Indoor footwear (sandals or slippers)
  • Personal items (soap, shampoo, towel, etc.)
  • Sleeping bag (optional)
